Type of Coverage: The Chicago School provides group disability coverage to active full-time employees through Reliance Standard, www.rsli.com.
Effective Date: Coverage for eligible employees will automatically begin on the first day of the month following the date of hire.
Benefits:
Coverage Summary:
- Weekly Benefit: 60% of earnings
- Weekly Maximum: $1,500
- Elimination Period:
- Illness/Injury: 14 Days
- Maximum Duration: 90 Days
Cost to Employees: The Chicago School pays the entire cost of this plan.
Long-term Disability Insurance
Type of Coverage: The Chicago School provides group disability coverage to active full-time employees through Reliance Standard, www.rsli.com.
Effective Date: Coverage for eligible employees will automatically begin on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

- Monthly Benefit: 60% of earnings
- Monthly Maximum: $7,500
- Elimination Period:
Benefits are paid during the time of total disability, until age 65, subject to certain restrictions.
Cost to Employees: The Chicago School pays the entire cost of this plan.
