Description of Organization
Lawrence Hall Youth Services is a not-for-profit organization that has been serving children and families since 1865. Lawrence Hall provides a home for, educates, and cares for children, adolescents and young adults who face extreme challenges. Lawrence Hall’s residential program and group homes serve numerous adolescents throughout each year.
Description of Project
The Chicago School and Lawrence Hall have partnered to take a close look at Lawrence Hall’s residential services in order to assist Lawrence Hall in developing a new residential model. Students from different disciplines work together to conduct a thorough needs analysis through staff and client focus groups, interviews, and surveys; and/or participate on literature review teams to gather research on residential treatment and organizational change.
