Description of Organization
A 60-bed hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children Chicago has served the children of the Midwest for over 80 years and is supported by 14 affiliated Shrine Centers from across the Midwest.  Shriners Hospital is committed to providing the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and certain other special health care needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment.  Shriners Hospital is committed to providing for the education of physicians and other health care professionals, and also to conducting research to discover knowledge that improves the quality of life of children and families.

Research Assistant

  • Onsite research working with Shriner’s patients which includes administering measurement tools as well as possible literature review 
  • May assist patients with use of powered wheelchairs
