The Student Health & Wellness Referral Network assists Chicago School students in obtaining quality, discounted mental health services. The program helps students identify providers who may be a good fit based on specialties, experience and background, geographic location, and clinical approach.
In addition to contracting with providers to work with Chicago School students at a capped fee, The Chicago School will also pay for the student’s two first sessions (an intake and a therapy session) with student consent. If students have health insurance, they may use their insurance as well; however, the student’s portion of the fee will never exceed the capped rate of $65 for therapy visits and $100 for psychiatry visits.
Currently, students can access the network by contacting Dr. Mark Masi, network administrator, at 847.253.6698.
Sometime in spring 2009, students will be able to locate providers by accessing an online, self searchable database. Visit this site in the future for updates and database login information.
